From the Office of Councilmember Ryu
Councilmember Ryu sends his best regards to the members of the Nichols Canyon Neighborhood Association as we work together to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. Councilmember Ryu’s three COVID-19 priorities are:
1. Protecting the health of our community and our City;
2. Procuring more testing so we can get more information; and
3. Ensuring that working families and small businesses get needed support during this time.
Most recently, Councilmember has advocated for federal rent and mortgage forgiveness, so that impacted families are not burdened with debt due to the pandemic. Additionally, Councilmember Ryu has launched a senior outreach program, connecting older adults in need with local volunteers who help with grocery pick-ups, pharmacy deliveries, and more.
